MAX power - bass
Date of Birth: 26th August, 1976
Place of Birth: Vantaa
Place of Residence: Helsinki
Interests: music, writing, photography, books, movies, drinking, hanging out with friends
Vices: alcohol, aspiration for world domination - and the two of them combined
Musical background: I took piano lessons as a kid for three years. I was so ashamed to play "a girly" istrument, that I kept it a secret. Not even my closest friends knew about it. Some years later, as a rebel teenager, I picked up some guitar lessons.
Chaosweaver is the first band that I've ever actively played in. I started on keyboards and moved on to bass, since Ezzymania 2000, the craziest shredder imaginable, joined our gang of mischiefs. His guitar skills were way beyond my keyboard mockery, so I desided to start playing bass - a simple tool for a simple fool.
Equipment: Ibanez BTB400 bass, Fender tube amp & bunch of guitars and keyboards
Musical heroes: Danny Elfman, Mike Patton, Dan Swanö, Jim Morrison, Tuomas Holopainen, Mikael Åkerfeldt & the Chaosweaver laddies
Top 5 bands: The Doors, Black Sabbath, Slayer (the first Lombardo era), Swallow the Sun and Danzig (albums I-IV)
Top 5 albums:
Amorphis - Eclipse
Satyricon - Now, Diabolical
Danzig - II Lucifuge
Dark Tranquillity - Skydancer
Cradle of Filth - Midian
(Bonus round: Smell of Rain by Mortiis, Valontuoja by Tytär, The Morning Never Came by Swallow the Sun, Hatebreeder by Children of Bodom, Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer and Ghost Reveries by Opeth)

Carcass - Heartwork

Favorite Chaosweaver song: Locked in a Coffin
Favorite movies: Bram Stoker's Dracula, Sleepy Hollow, Indiana Jones Trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Star Wars Trilogy (IV-VI), Fight Club, Ford Fairlane, Pirates of the Caribbean, Matrix, Almost Famous, Austin Powers flicks and everything by Burton, Lynch, Kubrik, Gilliam, Coppola, Tarantino and the Coen brothers. As for actors, Johnny Depp is the greatest.
Favorite tv series: Twin Peaks, Friends, CSI, South Park, The Simpsons, Studio Julmahuvi
Favorite frase from a movie or a tv show: "So many assholes, so few bullets."
- The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, 1990
Favorite books: I like to read biographies of interesting people (for example Jim Morrison, Marilyn Manson, Richard Branson and Kurt Cobain) and studies of underground cultures (Lords of Chaos, Choosing Death, Turn Off Your Mind: The Mystic Sixties and The Dark Side Of The Age of Aquarius etc.). As for fiction, I'd point out Lord of the Rings, Talisman, Brothers Lionheart, The Da Vinci Code, Alice in Wonderland, Agatha Christie's shit and the life's work of the grand maestro H.P. Lovecraft.
